Cable Removal Might Be Quite Something

a. The '02 National Electrical Code requires the removal of abandoned cable.

b. A telecom/datacom industry authority, Frank Bisbee, says the lead that is in every single one of the cables that need removing is no longer stable -- if people handle it, they will come in contact with lead.

c. Lead isn't good for humans.

d. Does all of this mean the people removing abandoned cable will have to wear moon suits? Hell ya -- unless the employers of said people want to pain a huge target on their earnings!
