Charles Aulner

In 2002, Charles founded National Training Center (NTC) which is a training company focused on the security and fire alarm industry. Prior to being president of NTC, he worked for 5 years as a manager for Honeywell, one of the largest security and fire companies in the US. Charles worked as an installer, service technician and operations manager for 5 years. During this time, his work included fire alarm system design and installation, security systems installation and service as well as video and
access control systems design. Charles served as a Captain in the US Army for 6 years, prior to his introduction in the security and fire industry.
Bryan McLane
Vice-President, National Training Center
Bryan has worked in the security and fire alarm industry since 1991. He joined National Training Center (NTC) in 2007 as Vice President. He trains on Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Video Systems, and Access Control Systems. His previous experience includes security and fire distribution, working in positions from sales and system design to national sales manager. Bryan currently holds NICET Certifications in CCTV, Audio, Fire Alarm, and Fire Sprinkler Systems.
Subject Description:
This course focuses on the two most important technical low voltage systems to the electrical contractor. The student will know how to identify design requirements for CCTV systems, understand and apply features of analog and IP based systems, and understand what is necessary for Code compliance.
CCTV Systems. CCTV systems provide observation and documentation. In this training, attendees will learn the technical details and design considerations for CCTV systems, as well as code requirements for wiring.
Burglar Alarm Systems. Burglar Alarm Systems provide property and personal protection. In this training, attendees will learn the technical details and design considerations for burglar alarm systems, as well as code requirements for wiring.
Fire Alarm Systems. Fire alarm systems are a critical aspect to overall life safety. In this training, attendees will learn the technical details of fire alarm system design, installation and code compliance which are essential to proper operation of the system.
Structured Cabling. Structured cabling systems provide infrastructure to support modern, network based equipment and systems in commercial and residential applications. In this training attendees will learn the technical details and design considerations structured cabling systems, as well as code requirements for wiring.
