ST. LOUIS—Cooper Bussmann will be offering an Overcurrent Protection Seminar for Building Power Systems on Dec. 12-13, 2002. Discussion topics include Component Protection (NEC 110.10), Interrupting Rating NEC Section 110.9 and 240.86, Short Circuit Current Calculations, Overcurrent Protection and Industry Standards (NFPA 70E, IEEE), Selective Coordination (NEC 240.12, 700.25 FPN), Elevator Protection-Selective Coordination, Current Limitation (NEC 240.2), Series Rating (NEC 240.86, 110.9, 110.22), Ground Fault Protection (NEC 230.95), and Motor Circuit Protection (NEC Article 430).

The seminar is offered to Consulting Electrical Engineers, Plant Engineers, Electrical Contractors, Electrical Designers and Electrical Inspectors. Participants in the two-day seminar will earn 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

At the seminar, participants will witness live tests of equipment being misapplied and then properly applied at the Gubany Center, Cooper Bussmann’s world-famous testing facility in St. Louis.
