Our Day of Freedom

July 4th is our Independence Day and a time to celebrate being FREE!

When celebrating, please remember the men and women who fight everyday to make sure that we do NOT have to go to bed worrying that something terrible could happen just outside your door.

Take a moment to view some images of our troops in Iraq doing what they do everyday to preserve and promote this freedom. Click Here.

  • Mike, thanks for asking me to take the time and really remember what this day truly means, so many times it gets lost in day to day activity it is not about going swimming or cooking burgers it is really about the fact that Freedom is not Free, THANKS MIKE

  • It was a very great tribute. I served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and i am very proud of it. I was very fortunate to have been in when there was no war. I am very glad that Mike Bullock is not running the country. It scares me to think that there are people like him out there. Happy $th fo July. Thanks

  • Open minds ? Defending freedom ?

Our brave young men and women are serving our country well. But are they defending our freedoms ? Iraq was and is a defenseless county with no weapons of mass destruction that did not provoke us. Yet we are illegally occupying that country and slaughtering its people and our boys and girls are dying too. Why are we killing them ? There was not ONE Iraqi on the planes that struck the twin towers.

So have an open mind about this. Let's say Iraq looked at the popularity polls for our president and decided over half the population doesnt approve of him and they should help us out. If Iraq entered American soil to remove him from power, would we say they were defending freedom? NO. We would be shooting them in the streets from the windows of our homes. Just put yourselves in their position.

I love the fact that we do have the freedom to discuss these issues openly and recognize the contributions our military, legislature and the press have made to these freedoms. Don't take me off your list, Mike. I love your newsletters.

  • I'll be canceling all my email from you Mike. You are glorifying what we have done to the innocent people of Iraq, which is kill somewhere between 100,00 and 250,000 thousand of them, many, woman and children. All for a pack of lies! How can you be so smart about electricity and so stupid about what the rich and powerful will do for their lust for money and power. Unless your willing to investigate and learn the truth about what is happening to America then youve already kissed your freedom goodby. Mike Bullock

  • Hey Mike Bullock... This newsletter isn't about the politics. It's about supporting those who serve our country all over the world in support of freedom. Check out the images in the presentation. This is all about serving others first instead of serving ourselves.

  • As an ex-Infantryman WWII those pictures remind me of my experiences. It is with trepidation that I see that our troops in Iraq are going through the same ups and downs with honor!

  • so now killing people is serving them. or is it killing them in our name is serving us? the men and women in uniform can only do what they are told. it's our job to see that they are not asked to do something for a lie! mike bullock

  • Thank You for your support to ourMen and Women in our Armed Forces, especially for my Son, SGT Adam N. Engelhart, who is in his 4th year of a 6 year Army Engineer enlistment and an Operation Iraqi Freedom II (OIFII) Veteran. However, I seem to be having a problem seeing the images in the above link within the newsletter. It appears to go to a site named; Gladiator, American Style, but all I get are the outlines of the images with the white square with the red X inside it, at the top left hand corner of all the image outlines. Can someone tell me what may be the problem? I would also like to contribute some images my Son has brought home from his experiences there in Iraq as well. Thanks Again, and I look forward to hearing future comments. Sincerely, David, Angela, Adam and Eve
