A Tribute: September 11, 2001

Nineteen years have passed, but we must never forget. Let us take a moment of silence in honor and remembrance of all of those who lost their lives, for their families, and for those first responders and individuals who came together in a heroic effort to save others.

I have forgiven those that have hurt so many, but I’ll never forget those that have given everything. I love the United States of America and I’m honored and proud to be an American. Every time I watch this video I get a knot in my stomach and tears in my eyes; it just hurts a lot...

  • I will never forget this awful and terrible day! I do remember how this Great Country came together as one even for a short time. We as Americans should be united in our Freedom, it's not Democrat or Republican.......We Are Americans. May we never forget our hero's that serve to protect The United States of America. God Bless America!

  • I was close enough to hear see and smell the atrocity. Our electricians and members of other construction teams were shocked and spellbound from our vantage point on Spring street. Eventually I proceeded north in my company vehicle attempting to return home. A brother electrician flashed his union card to get my attention. Our logo was on the vehicle doors. I released the door locks and proceeded to drive him home to Connecticut. Years later we met accidentally and recalled our encounter. Thanks for everything that we still have and cherish. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
