Fire Safety in Aged Electrical Systems

Join your colleagues in the electrical safety industry to learn new information on the fire performance of aging electrical systems.  The Foundation’s newAged Electrical Systems Symposium will first set the stage with an in depth look at the past and present electrical fire safety problem with presentations from the Consumer Products Safety Commission and NFPA.  Techniques and case studies for electrical fire investigations will be presented along with the latestin diagnostic techniques and materials issues.  Residential wiring practices, design and materials issues will be reviewed and results of the Foundation’s two current projects on fire safety of aged electrical systems presented.  Visit the Foundation’s website atwww.nfpa.org/foundation for more information.
