  • Does the NEC require a non-auto main breaker or a non fusible disconnect in front of the apartment electrical panel or part of the electrical panel (like built-in in the apartment panel). The apartment electrical panels is fed from a separate feeder breaker of the distribution switchboard located on each floor which is normally locked (not accessible to the Tenant). The floor switchboard feeds all electrical panels on the floor with its own breaker, say, 100A, 3P, 4W at 120/208 Volt.
