More than half of young children that die in fires are asleep – a solution may be to use a voice alert with a recording of the parent’s voice rather than a beeping alert. Studies are showing this alert to be much more effective in rousing children from sleep.

  • Mike is a very busy guy,trying to earn a living. He posted this info , not for the betterment of his company just to get people talking and acting. I am wondering why the respondents, that want to spoon feed , do not do their own research to find the product and it 's availability, using the internet is so easy to find products. It is not like when we had to use the "Thomas Register" to find products.

    There are only so many companies that make smoke detectors it would be very easy to contact each one of them to get their latest specs and insight on what is in the pipeline.
