  • First I'd like to say "Thank You" for all the great information we get from your newsletter. And Mike I'd like to say a special "Thank You" for honoring our soldiers. There are very few people like you. I forward your emails to guys like me who are veterans from a very unpopular war and we want you to know what you do is appreciated.

  • We should never forget that freedom is NOT free. I applaud all of our military and thank God for them. Without them, we would not be here.

  • As a past British army airborne reservist and a present US airforce volunteer (civil air patrol) I support the armed forces in their endeavours, I do not, however, support the present administration. As a 67 senior citizen, I was so moved by the videos of so many fine young people.

  • Outstanding video. I beleieve we as a nation do remember. We do support our troops. We do miss you. We do want you home. We are grateful for the job that you do.

When we criticilze and question the leadership of this country, that does not lessen our support for the troops. The troops are doing their jobs with honor. We know this to be true. We want you home.

Please do not confuse my criticism of the " Commander and Chief" with my support for the troops. Do not confuse my criticism with my patriotism.

I realize that it is not my place to speak for the nation when I say "we", but I believe at least half of America does agree with me. And I believe that all of America does support our troops either way. God Bless ou troops.

  • Regardless of the reasons behind this war and whether or not we agree, these events are still happening and we need to remember these people in our prayers. We must pray for support for our soldiers and their families. We must pray in gratitude for those who make it back alive and pray asking comfort for the families of those who don't.

Thank you for serving our country. May God keep you and your families safe.

  • Thank you MIke. This is my family. Those that wish to turn and run should view this. You can not know the pride if you have not been there, no matter what others may say. If you have not stood tall and served, you are but an empty shell. This is what America and freedom are really about. In GOD we trust and the men and women of our Armed Forces.

  • I am sure that we all have family serving in the military. I have a nephew who is on his second tour to Iraq and my eldest son is serving his eighth year in the Air Force and plans to serve twenty. We need to appreciate all that our servicemen and women do to preserve the freedoms that we enjoy. God Bless them and their families.

  • Mike .. we loose sight many times the personal nature of service, and of those that serve. We must never forget who the terrorosts are, and what they stand for. We must support our troops daily in prayer.

  • God bless all of the military as well as their families. Although my parent's generation has been called the greatest generation, and I don't wish to take anything away from them, we should think about the times and how different they were. Many of our military were called up, or drafted due to a world war. Today, our entire military is comprised of volunteers. You can rest assured that they don't do it for the money. This generation may well be remembered as the greatest. Let's hope we can finish the job and bring them home soon. The least we can do is support and pray for them.

  • Outstanding video. I wish the media would play this. It's a sad state of affairs when our members in the Congress and Senate value their jobs more than the lives of our brave men and women serving in Iraq. This July 4th, remember that FREEDOM is not FREE, there is a price for it. God Bless America and our young men and women who serve!!!

  • On December 8, 1941, my father joined the Navy. He recalled that pretty much every man in town between 18 and 30, and some older and younger, were standing in line at the recruiting office.

Out of my high school class of 900, I think there were a dozen of us who enlisted, and a like number who got into College ROTC or one of the Academies.

The comparatively even fewer serving today are carrying the weight of the rest of us.

  • i registered for the draft at the U.S. embassy in Toronto when i was 18, they hadn't called me by the time i was 20 so i enlisted in Dearborn. I served in RVN and discharged in early 1970. i and so many others did our duty because it was our duty, without thoughts of recompense or glory but because it was our duty. stuff like this is nice though and we appreciate it.

  • Thank you for reminding us that we are once again not in the position to take our freedom for granted. Seeing those scenes of family and fiends at a grave site brought back some hard memories from my past. When I was the one standing at attention while people sobbed as they said good bye. We can not forget these men and women fighting for our way of life!
