Keeping up with the requirements of the Code should be the goal of

Article 706?? Never heard of it! That just may be the case as this article is relatively new [NEC 2017].
So just what is energy storage? Isn't that already covered in Article 480-Storage Batteries. Better yet, what consists of an energy storage system and why was Article 706 even necessary?
