2023 Code Video - 691.1

Keeping up with the requirements of the Code should be the goal of everyone involved in electrical safety. The following is what I feel is an important rule in the 2023 NEC®, complete with graphics and a video. I encourage you to use it as a training resource for your organization, and share it with your colleagues.

Want to know the difference between a Large-Scale PV Electric Supply Station (Article 691) and a standard PV system installation (Article 690)? Large-scale PV systems supply power directly to the electric utility grid and require specialized engineering design. On the other hand, standard PV systems are used to provide power for a residential home or commercial building.

If you want to understand Article 691 watch the video as Mike Holt and a panel of experts break down exactly what you need to know about Large-Scale PV Electric Supply Stations, so you’re not just following the Code—you’re understanding the “why” behind it.
