I know what it takes to succeed—to be the best you can be, and I want to share the experience and wisdom I've gained so that you too, can learn how to make a difference, and change lives. I trust that you'll find new and fresh ways to reach and engage your audience, and reexamine your commitment to education.

20 of 20: The Summary

In this series we've shown subject-matter experts how to share their expertise with others, and explained the skills and attitudes necessary for a teacher to be effective in helping students understand and learn. The information presented was divided into six major areas, each of which included several major points.

This video clip summarizes those key areas. Follow along with the text which also reviews important presentation tips and techniques that were covered in the course.

These are the basic skills. From this point on, it's like anything else in life - practice makes perfect. Good luck, and remember that the work you are doing is changing lives. The job of a great instructor is to make a difference in the lives of their students. Enjoy the journey!
