NASCLA Electrical Examination Program Feedback

Electrical education is our key concern and I'm always looking out for information and resources that I believe will add value, and help keep the industry safe. The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) is in the process of updating the content for the Accredited Electrical Examination Program, and I wanted to bring to your attention that they are asking for participation in their survey. I hope you find it has merit.

NASCLA is in the final stretch of updating the Job Analysis that defines the content for the NASCLA Accredited Electrical Examination Program and they need to collect input directly from licensed electricians. And that’s why they need you!

To ensure their examinations accurately reflect current industry practices, they’re collecting feedback through three surveys tailored to license classification. Use the appropriate link below:

They are currently in a holding pattern with revising the content outlines unless they receive at least 150 completed surveys to ensure a statistically valid update.

Deadline to respond: Friday, July 31, 2025

Additionally, please share this request with your colleagues, employees, chapter members, and other licensees to help them gather a comprehensive national response.

Your assistance ensures that the NASCLA Accredited Electrical Examination Program remains valid, current, and nationally respected. Thank you in advance for helping them collect these essential insights.
