Did you know that a solar PV system with energy storage can be classified as an optional standby system? An optional standby system has traditionally been an alternative source of power such as a generator. But as technology evolves, the NEC evolves with it. Now, solar PV with energy storage can serve as an Article 702 optional standby system.
