2023 Code Video - 215.15

Keeping up with the requirements of the Code should be the goal of everyone involved in electrical safety. The following is what I feel is an important rule in the 2023 NEC®, complete with graphics and a video. I encourage you to use it as a training resource for your organization, and share it with your colleagues.

Did you know that even if you open the disconnecting means for equipment supplied by feeder taps or transformer secondary conductors you might be exposed to energized parts?

A new rule, 215.15 in the 2023 NEC, now requires line side barriers for feeders to help protect against inadvertent contact with energized parts.

Check out the attached article then watch the video where Mike and the team discuss what is required in this new section.
