Did you know an emergency disconnect is now required for a dwelling unit supplied by feeder conductors?

New to the 2023 NEC, section 225.41 requires an emergency disconnect for one- and two-family dwellings supplied by outdoor feeders. Not every home receives power from service conductors, some homes across the country receive their power with feeder conductors. During an emergency, first responders need a quick way to shut-off power to the dwelling unit.

After you read this newsletter make sure to join Mike and the team on the video as they break down the new requirement in 225.41.
