BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - part 3

Balance (Life)

Certainly, your business needs your careful attention for long-range planning and day-to-day administration; however, don\rquote t neglect the outside activities that are necessary to enjoy a full life. Make time available for your family, social affairs and religious worship, plus hobbies and development of mind and body. As the poet said, "Take time to smell the roses."

One of the biggest dangers a business owner faces is allowing his or her work to overshadow all other areas of life. Without a good balance between professional time and personal time, you will not be able to provide the effective leadership and management skills that you are attempting to achieve.
