I am an Electrical Engineer/BSEE/RPI, Registered PE in 34 states + DC. I seek engineering work on an as-needed, contract, or consulting basis. I do engineering/design of electrical systems for building facilities, including: power distribution, switchgear, panelboards, UPS/inverter/battery systems, emergency & stand-by generators, lighting systems & controls, fire alarm/security alarm, CCTV monitoring/security systems, telcom/datacom systems, motor power & controls, power and controls for P/FP/HVAC, motor control centers, variable frequency/speed drives, code/NEC grounding, lightning protection systems, and energy conservation systems.
Experience includes all types of buildings, fit-ups, and related facilities, new and renovations, including commercial, residential, retail, food service, industrial, transportation, institutional, government, and military; also microwave/telecom tower/building cell-site facilities.
I provide infrastructure engineering, analysis, design, plans, specifications, calculations, reports, design review, code review, peer review, design & construction affidavits, bid documents, etc., all PE STAMPED & SIGNED. I also do studies, evaluations, shop drawing & submittal review, inspection of construction with report, tracking, and due diligence building inspections of existing conditions, with report. In addition to electrical construction-related work, I am also associated with others to provide HVAC/P/FP if/as required.
I work out of my home-office in Somerset, MA. , with communications via phone, fax, e-mail, over-night FedEx, Express/Priority Mail, DHL, UPS, etc. I can propose a fee, or work for an agreed-upon hourly rate, plus expenses. I can work 1099 or W-2. Experience has shown that this outsourcing system works very well.
I am available for meetings, site visits, etc., if/as necessary, with adequate notice, schedule permitting.
