Background
I have over thirty years of industry experience in the design and implementation of electric utility systems, including overhead transmission line design, electric substation design, overhead and underground electric distribution line design and construction, fault current and sectionalizing studies (system protection devices), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) compliance, National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance, etc. I have been designated as an Expert Witness, and have served my previous employers as a fact witness, with regard to electric utility contacts resulting in property damage, personal injury or death by electrocution, accidental contact to utility structures (ie. Guy wires, utility poles, etc.), and damages caused by electric utility lines (ie. Fires caused by downed power lines, damages due to generated electromagnetic fields (EMF), etc.). I am a licensed professional engineer and a member of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
