Description The Electrical Technology Program at Grayson College provides comprehensive 42 credit hour training in electrical technology. We offer an industry recognized curriculum providing the basic knowledge and skills in applied electrical theory; residential, commercial, and industrial wiring; blueprint reading; estimating; National Electrical Code; motor controls and PLC automation; and building codes. Proper safety practices in the use of hand and power tools; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and test equipment are also stressed. On-site training and lab instruction are designed to build student confidence and skills which will provide training to High School students with available Dual Credit courses, train entry level electricians or provide seasoned electricians with additional knowledge.
