License Requirements
Renewal
- Renewal Information All licenses are renewed triennially with exception of those issued prior to the first license expiration date of September 30, 2020. Following renewal in 2020 all licenses will expire September 30 of every third year.
Missouri Statewide Electrical Contractors: All licenses are renewed triennially by September 30. At this time, the division will not be requiring continuing education. Watch our website for updates in the future. The law authorizes the state to impose continuing education requirements by implementing rules. Section 324.910.1, RSMo.
Jefferson County, MO: In order to renew your Jefferson County, MO electrical license, you are required to take 12 hours, at least 8 related to the code every 3 years.
