License Requirements

    • four years or 8,000 hours electrical work experience
    • a four-year combination of board-approved related training and experience
    • a "Notice of Apprenticeship Committee Action
    • Released for Test" form from the applicant's training program
    • maintenance experience in electrical work may be considered by the Board

Renewal

  • Annual. All certificates of license to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Arkansas shall expire at 12:00 midnight on the day before the anniversary date of their issuance unless otherwise designated by the Contractors Licensing Board, and they shall become invalid on that day unless renewed.
