Idaho Electrical Continuing Education Required: Idaho electrical licenses, Master and Journeyman, must complete 24 hours of Idaho approved continuing education. Of the 24 hours, a minimum of 8 must be Code Update. The remaining 16 hours can cover any combination of topics including Code Update, Code Related, Industry Related.
New: Apprentice registrations with an expiration date of 7/31/21 require eight (8) hours of NFPA 70E training and sixteen (16) hours of code-update training, code-related training, or industry-related training to renew their apprenticeship registration.
Idaho Electrical License Renewal: Continuing education must be completed by the last day of the month of the anniversary of the license issue date, every three years.
As required by Idaho, we will submit your CE hours automatically. State submissions are completed on Thursday.
