Reciprocity

New Hampshire Electrical Continuing Education Required: All New Hampshire licensed master and journeyman electricians must complete an approved 15-hour code update course within 1 year of New Hampshire adopting the new version of the National Electrical Code.
Note: All master and journeyman licensees without verification of the 2023 NEC by January 1, 2024 will be INVALID until proof of the course is received. INVALID licensees will be treated the same as a LAPSED license and subject to the applicable laws for performing electrical installations without being licensed.
New Hampshire Electrical License Renewal: Click Here for the new renewal schedule and fees. Master and Journeyman electrical licenses expire every 3 years on last day of licensee's birth month.
Apprentice Continued Education: Any apprentice with a current NH apprentice ID card who has completed the schooling requirements but has not achieved a journeyman electrician license before the fifth renewal of the apprentice ID card shall successfully complete 30 hours of classroom instruction each year before the ID card shall be renewed.
