License Renewal & CEU Requirements

License Renewal CEU Requirements

There are no state level licensing or CEU requirements.

Johnson County Electrical Licenses: Johnson County electrician licenses need to complete 8 hours of continuing education of the National Electric Code. This must be completed before December 31 each year. Licenses shall expire on December 31st each year. Self-paced, online courses are not currently accepted by the board (webinar and zoom type classes are permitted). Johnson County Board Website

Sedgwick County - KEERC Electrical: Licensees need to complete 12 hours of continuing education, 6 hours will have to be on the National Electric Code. This must be completed every 2 years. Licenses shall expire on December 31st each odd year. Sedgwick County License info

All other County/City license renewal and CEU requirements vary by jurisdiction. The license holder must confirm with that board directly what their requirements are and if our CEU courses will be accepted.
