License Renewal & CEU Requirements

License Renewal CEU Requirements New Mexico Electrical Continuing Education Required: New Mexico licensed electricians must complete at least sixteen (16) hours continuing education in every three year period between respective Electrical Code updates of which eight (8) hours must be covering Code changes and the other eight (8) hours may be industry-related instruction.

New Mexico Electrical License Renewal: Licensees must renew every 3 years by their renewal date. Verify which date you renew on directly with the board.
